Core facility for cell sorting and flow cytometry (FlowKon)
FlowKon is the core facility for cell sorting and flow cytometry at the University of Konstanz. We currently take care of
one analytical flow cytometer and one cell sorter. FlowKon provides theoretical and practical introduction to flow cytometry,
also to users who have never used the method before.

FlowKon offers theoretical and practical introduction to flow cytometry, especially to users who have never worked with the
method before. It is our aim that users are able to work independently upon training on their instrument of choice. With the
appearance of various new fluorescent dyes it is essential to provide consulting considering multi-color stainings. FlowKon
also provides operator-mediated cell sorting for cell purification or establishment of stable cell lines.
